Timberlake Becomes First Man In Decade To Have 6 Top 40 Hits Of Same LP

With the success of his latest single, Till The End of Time, Justin Timberlake has done something that no other male solo artist has in this decade, have six top 40 hits from the same album.
The album, FutureSex/LoveSounds continues to generate singles, and move units for the former N*Sync front-man, who finds himself sitting in the upper echelon of pop music. The album was released in September of 2006, and is enjoying a shelf life not seen by many albums in the current state of the music industry.
By accomplishing this feat, Timberlake puts himself in good company, musically at least. The last male solo artist to achieve such success with one album was Michael Jackson who's 1991 album, Dangerous spawned seven top 40 hits over a two year span. Shania Twain also produced six top 40 hits with her 1997 release, Come On Over.
Jive/Zomba is the label behind Timberlake's album. VP of promotion Joe Riccitelli spoke about Timberlake's ability to reach a wide audience.
"There are very few artists in the industry that can cover all the bases the way Justin does. If you look at the songs from FutureSex that have topped the chart, you go from 'Summer Love,' which is pure pop-driven, to 'Sexyback,' which was groundbreaking from a production standpoint."
